Accept it and move on...
So, I've finally admitted to myself that the laptop is beyond repair. The only thing to do now is to find the proper IDE cable so that I can connect my laptop HD to one of Brett's many desktops so that I can transfer everything onto the external harddrive.Screw you, Microsoft. I'm getting* a Mac(book).
* = In my dreams. Or, if I somehow save up a bunch of money. So, maybe before my birthday. Jeez, that would mean one whole year without a personal computer... how weird...
