Day 21: "Did I die and go to heaven?"
We arrived at the all-inclusive Decameron resort today. Lindsey is the reason for the title today, and she is not lying. It is gorgeous! There’s a bunch of pools, food and drinks all the time, lots of included activities, and best of all the beach is about 150 yards away from the PATIO of our hotel rooms. I kept asking myself what I did in life to deserve something so beautiful, and I still haven’t come up with an answer! I hope whoever I get married to (eventually, maybe someday) either knows Spanish or doesn’t mind me being the translator, because I am honeymooning right freakin’ here!In other news, someone got sent home today for having been visibly intoxicated and a danger to self in front of the program director. This person had been acting as a danger to self for quite a while. I was actually kind of wondering if the person would attempt to keep their drunkenness a secret from the professors on this trip, or at least try to compose themselves while around the professors, but I guess I was wrong.
