Relationships, redefined
So, I was browsing though some of my friends' livejournals, and I saw my screen name pop up. Obviously, I'm going to check it out if I notice my name! Anyway, this person was talking about hanging out with me, but he called me "Paul's girlfriend Simone". It could be because he has a bunch of mutual friends with Paul... but still, I think it's weird. Would I be less irked/weirded out if he would have called me "Simone, Paul's girlfriend"? Yea, probably. But, I'd rather be known as "Simone". I dunno, maybe I just feel weird cause we're not officially boyfriend/girlfriend. Maybe I'm just weird.Also, I noticed that my friends introduce me to their romantic interests sooner than they introduce other friends... also, that within a few days, the friend is like "omg my current romantic interest thinks you're the coolest person EVAR" and/or the romantic interest is like "omg you are the coolest friend of my new boo".
People are weird. :)
