So, if you haven't already heard... I was in the hospital Friday night. I'm so tired of telling the story, but ONE more time for my faithful readers... :)

So I got up Friday, I was really drowsy and I had a headache that felt like an iron spike was being driven through the top of my head and down. I could barely stay awake during my first class (which is highly unusual). I went to work, and while I was helping this guy, I just all of the sudden felt dizzy. I thought the dizziness would pass if I closed my eyes for a second, so I tried it. When I opened them again, I felt dizzy again. I decided not to go to Acting or Logic, and just take a nap and see if it would pass (the headache too). When I went back, I thought I might have TSS (toxic shock syndrome) because I had these symptoms coming from nowhere. So, I tried to call my parents for like an hour, and finally got a hold of Dad. Then I called around to get a ride to the hospital (I was feeling really bad). I finally got a hold of Pearce, Jen, and Steve. So, Steve drove me to Jewish hospital, with Jen and Pearce along for some support.

Anyway, I was checked in really quickly. I talked to the RN that was checking me out and she was like, "Well, you can't have TSS because you have to be menstruating," my period was a little late--don't really know why, "But, it sounds like you have symptoms of a bad bug that's going around. So, we will check you out and see." So, I was admitted and all that fun stuff. They gave me an IV (not the bag kind, just a little plug in my arm) and pumped me full o'drugs (I think some for my headache and some to help me relax/sleep a little). After sleeping and talking on my phone off and on, I went to get a CAT scan. They were checking to see if I had a sinus infection or not. When I woke up again, my mom's friend Jeanie was there, and Andy came in like 5 minutes later. The CAT scan came back and the doctor was like, "Well, you don't have a sinus infection." And I was like, "yesss!" Then she said, "But... you have a small bleed in your brain stem." Andy's eyes got really big, and so did Jeanie's. I was like, "Whoa, okay..." So, I had to get an MRI, to see if there were more spots. Jeanie left to grab something to snack on, and I talked to Andy for a little bit. Then he left, and I gave Jen a call and told them to go ahead and go, cause I'd be there for a while.

I talked to a neurologist (a really cute doctor named Dr. Axelrod--she was foreign and had the cutest hair! I think her first name is Ylena), and she checked me out really quickly. Then Jeanie came back and the MRI transporters came. There was a cool older chick, and this really nice looking tall guy! They took me down to the MRI 'dungeon' as Jeanie called it, and I got my MRI. To anyone that ever gets one, it is loud as who-knows-what in there. To keep your mind off the noise, try counting the clicks or breathing in rhythm to the clicks. They helped by having some music. Even though the clicking was really, really loud, the music helped a little bit. Anyway, I was transported back up to the Emergency care room and Jeanie and I chatted a little bit. The doctor (not to be confused with the neurologist) came back and said the MRI was totally normal... there was just a shadow on the CAT scan and I did just have a sinus infection! So, all of that fun time in the hospital for a little sinus infection. :)

Well, I'm going to go to bed. I'm feeling kinda tired, even though I slept almost all day. My parents visited me today to buy me my perscription and some groceries. OH I told my parents I got my tongue pierced. Dad was like whatever. Mom flipped out, but she got over it after a few hours and called me back to say she loved me even though I was bad. :)
